Makeup Trends As Seen On Global Fashion Runways Of 2021

We have been patiently waiting to wear all the fall 2021 makeup trends since they first debuted during fashion month six months ago. As much as we love summer's bronzed eyes and rosy cheeks, it’s time to pack away the shimmery body oils and bust out all-new fall lipstick shades

From soap brows, electric eyes and the new crazy cool way to apply eyeliner, these looks will have you wanting to ditch all your old faves like a summer fling.

Check out nine of the best makeup looks to go with the fall fashion trends you’ll be wearing all season long, plus the products you need to DIY them.

A Winged Eye and Red Lips

Can’t beat the classic and timeless winged eyeliner and red lipstick.

This look deserves a spot not only on the list for fall 2021 makeup trends, but for upcoming seasons, too.

Electric Eyes

The runway at Versace, showed fuschia lids and swipes of electric blue blowing the subdued fall shades out of the water . If your fall wardrobe consists of safe browns and dreary black, then girl it’s time yo amp things up with some color!!!

Lilac Eyeshadow

During the Preen by Thornton Bregazzi fall 2021 presentation, models were spotted with rich shades of lilac eyeshadow  that looked absolutely gorgeous.  We won’t be surprised if this shade becomes one the biggest makeup trends for 2021. Pair lilac hues with full-faced looks and no-makeup makeup vibes to make your besties purple with envy. Don’t be afraid: Play around with color & trust us that it can easily fit into your looks.

Soap Brows

This soap brow trend isn't going anywhere for fall 2021, and the Jason Wu runway at New York Fashion Week confirmed it. So go and get yourself some of that strong, brushed-up brow look. We have plenty of options for you to play with. This is the perfect trend to add with a wash of copper over the eyes, neutral blush, and shiny lip gloss.

Smokey Lids

The ain’t your traditional Smokey look but more of a thick smudge of dark green or grey eyeshadows. Look no further than  Max Mara’s  presentation to recreate this simple  fall 2021 makeup look.

Blend a pigmented shadow across your lids with your fingertips for an edgier look, or grab an angled makeup brush and a gel eyeliner pot for a more precise finish.

Khaki Eyeshadow

Give your usual smokey eye an update for fall 2021 by switching for an olive or khaki green color. Softer and warmer than the usual blacks and grays, this matte-green shadow is the perfect shade for a daytime smokey eye.

Vampy Lips

Remember the 90’s Cabernet colors? Well the vamp is back this fall 2021 but with a twist. Sandy Liang’s  presentation showcased a contrasting more contemporary version of the 90s solid plums. Dark plum lips were shown over bare skin and clean eyes. This is a perfect go-to  look when you don't have a ton of time to get ready but still want a swipe of something on your lips.

Accent Stickers

If there is one thing the Burberry runways conveyed it was that it’s time to step out of your makeup comfort zone and try some little star accents and constellation freckles.

Avoid decking out your entire face in decals and stickers just tack on a couple of gems around your eyes or along your cheekbones for a simple but one of the most very IG-worthy looks of the season.

Tell us if you want us to carry some of these international trends and send us a pic of you trying one of these looks for a chance to be featured on our platform.

Abstract Eyes

This year there’s a real freshness to makeup where we’re seeing lots of textural elements. It’s meant to look artistic and not precise, be your eyes be the canvas and your fingers be the paint brush and then sky's the limit- go as creative as you can!

Black Eyeliner

Winged liner not for you? Go for this grungy look. Smudge a black pencil eyeliner formula on your top and bottom lines, and finish off the look with neutral lipstick and subtle contouring.
