With the passage of time honey has continued to become one of nature's most revered skin remedies and one of the main ingredients for skin care. Honey is very good for your skin due to its antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties.

Use the juice of tomatoes along with honey to brighten skin, reduce tan marks, and get rid of spots and blemishes. Mix one teaspoon of freshly squeezed tomato juice with one teaspoon honey. Apply this mix on your face in circular motions and leave it on for 15 minutes before rinsing it off with cool water. Use home remedy twice a week to see the best results.
Smoothing Body Conditioner
Mix 1 tsp. honey with 1 tsp. vegetable oil and 1/4 tsp lemon juice. This mixture is a very natural conditioner to be rubbed on every part of your body which is dry. Leave it on for 10 minutes and later rinse it off.
Organic honey contains healthy bacteria that helps treat redness and inflammation associated with breakouts. Eczema and psoriasis are skin conditions similar to breakouts, with inflamed skin and redness with different types of blemishes. Honey can help soothe such conditions too, although a patch test must be done before.
Mix 1/2 cup warm water with 1/4 tsp salt. Use a cotton ball to soften the blemish by applying constant pressure. Apply honey with the help of cotton and leave it for 10 minutes. Wash it and pat it dry.
Use 1/4 cup freshly ground coffee, 1/4 cup buttermilk, 2 tbsp. wheat germ, 2 tbsp. honey, 1 tbsp. grape seed oil, 1 egg white. Mix buttermilk, honey, grape seed oil and egg white. Keep adding coffee and wheat germ to this mixture slowly to avoid any lumps. Apply this paste all over your body when in the bath helping in exfoliation. Rinse it completely and pat dry to see the effects.
