6 SIMPLE HEAD-TO-TOE BEAUTY TIPS FOR EID

6 SIMPLE HEAD-TO-TOE BEAUTY TIPS FOR EID

By Mehak Munaf.

Eid means many things to people, but as one of the Soorat’s first Seditors prepping my skin is on the top of my list. It also ensures a near-perfect all-day makeup look. So here are some of my fun tips and favorite head to toe products.

Moisturizing is the key

My first step is to zap away dry and dull skin with a hydrating moisturizer to reinvigorate skin just in time for in-house parties and family photo sessions. Moisturizing my face is super essential as it not only preps and smoothes my skin but prepares it for an even foundation or concealer application. Neutrogena hydro boost water gel is the perfect moisturizer for this hot AF weather. The best thing about this moisturizer is that it moisturizes my skin without feeling greasy.

Let your eyes do the talking.

How about getting an inch ahead with this cool color eyeliner trend this Eid. Colored eyeliners are big hits this season. Using a colored eyeliner with matching mascara can really make your eyes stand out.

Tip: Don’t match your eyeliner to your outfit.  Instead, choose neutral colored eyeliners. I’m currently crushing on olive green; as it really compliments my eyes.

Lash Lash baby!

Good news for us lash freaks who are craving some voluminous lashes. Benefit They're Real Mascara gives a falsies effect that looks as hotter than this July heat.

Go Bold or Go home.

Girl if you’re not into heavy eye makeup, I still got you! A bold lip can also be a showstopper in itself. Wearing a strong color on the lips instantly makes you look brighter, younger, and well-rested. It's probably one of the easiest ways I mask fatigued skin. Sephora lip stain in Velvet red is the perfect red lip statement I’m rocking this season. And if that’s not your thing check out the endless carousels of lipsticks on offer at The Soorat.

Body Beautiful.

Incorporating a high-quality body wash into my daily routine this summer is one way I maintain good skin overall. But I’ve upped my body care game up recently and added Thalgo Bodycare’s Revitalising Marine scrubWith Chondrus crispus red algae that delicately exfoliates, this scrub is more of a magical potion that leaves skin smooth as silk and softer than ever before. After exfoliating your body from the scrub, I tend to lather on a favorite body lotion and then spritz one of my favorite Victoria Secrets Mist. Victoria Secret’s Velvet Petal Body mist is a perfect fragrance that always uplifts my senses. Try this simple layering technique for lingering freshness.

Hair game strong

With all the humidity around this Eid, my hair can get pretty flat by the end of the day. I like a bit of volume in my hair. A low fuss way to maintain it is by backcombing the crown of your head and spraying on some hair spray to keep it in place. If my hair feels greasy, I just dust some baby powder on to the roots as it works almost as well as a dry shampoo.

Nail color is a must:

Everyone knows nudes are a fool-proof option. They're chic and they go with everything. For another subtle shade that has a little more color to it, OPIs wide collection of nail colors can help dress your nails in a fun way. My hot favorite these days is Cosmo Not Tonight Honey
